Test Drive Tuesday: Honda Sensing

Honda Sensing™

This new suite of driver assistive-technologies can help you sense
things you might miss while driving. In some cases, they can even help you
avoid a collision or mitigate its severity.
You’ll find them all on the 2015 CR-V Touring.

Collision Mitigation Braking System™

CMBS™ can help bring your Honda to a stop when
the system determines that a collision with a vehicle
detected in front of you is unavoidable. A warning sounds,
and if necessary, brake pressure is automatically applied[1].

Adaptive Cruise Control

ACC helps you maintain a constant
following interval, so you don’t have to
manually change your speed.[2]

Lane Keeping Assist System

LKAS helps keep you in your lane. If you begin
to leave a detected lane without signaling, the
steering wheel adjusts to correct your
lane departure[3].

Lane Departure Warning

LDW can detect unindicated lane departures
from detected lanes. Alerts will flash and
sound to help bring your attention to
correcting the lane drift[4].

Honda Lanewatch™

Honda LaneWatch helps decrease your passenger-side blind spot when
changing lanes. When you use your right turn signal, a view of the passenger
lane with nearly four times more area than the mirror alone appears on your
Display Audio screen[5].
