The Fairfield County Fair –  October 5 -11, 2014.

The Fairfield County Fair is one of the last county fairs of the year. customLogo
The fair opens Sunday October 5th with FREE DAY and runs until Saturday October the 11th.
This year offers a variety of attractions for all ages including truck, tractor and horse pulls, demolition derbies, concerts, bands, and horse races.  There will also be large exhibits including crafts, livestock and award winning recipes.  Don’t forget the rides, games and fair food!
Special Note: The Budweiser Clydesdales will be at the Fair October 8th – 11th with Parades everyday!

Firelight Fridays at Geneva Hills

Every Friday in October Geneva Hills host a gathering of family and friends at Geneva Hills from 6pm – 10pm.  At $3 per person, is a great low cost option for families and other groups from Fairfield and surrounding counties. They offer hayrides, night hikes, campfires, and a s’mores station.

As a low cost option for Friday night family fun, don’t be surprised to see a familiar face or two. Your church youth group or civic organization just might be here!

Downtown Lancaster (Bandstand/Gazebo)

Located under the trees at the corner of Broad & Main in the center of historic downtown, the Lancaster Handmade Market supports locally-made arts and crafts. This outdoor market will feature artisan-quality items handmade in Ohio. There will be an activity for the kids. This outdoor market will be held the first Saturday of the month May through October
