Lancaster Idol Finals

Details: Lancaster Idol is an annual vocal competition held at the Lancaster High School. Categories include Elementary, Junior High, High School, Adult and Group. The auditions are over and it is time to for The Finals! Come out and help the Lancaster Choir raise money for new risers and have a great night of entertainment and fun. To cast votes, audience members pay a $5 entry fee for each segment final and receive a voting ticket for each division. The elementary and junior high division finals will begin at 4 p.m. with the high school, adult and groups division finals starting at 7 p.m. To see both segments and cast votes in all five divisions will cost $10

10am – 4pm. $5 of every ticket sold will benefit local food pantries. Cruise through the Hocking Hills eating along the way. Enjoy the beauty of winter while indulging in some of your favorite comfort foods. For two days you can taste these dishes all around the region. Go for the gusto and try to taste all ten in a day or take a leisurely tour and take as long as both days. Best of all, no need for any guilt. At the first guilty twinge just stop and take a hike. In addition to using some of that comfort food fuel you will be treated to a feast for the senses as you view cave walls covered with ice beards and waterfalls frozen in suspended animation. List of Restaurants and what you will enjoy – Cinnamon Rolls from The Ridge Inn Restaurant, Biscuits and Gravy from Pearls, Vegetable Soup from Rocky Boot Factory Grill, Grilled Cheese Sandwich from Rhapsody Restaurant, Pizza from the Hocking Hills Dining Lodge, Brownies from the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls, Mac and Cheese from MM Family Diner, Meatloaf from the Millstone Southern BBQ, Chicken and Dumplings from the Olde Dutch Restaurant and Chocolate Ice Cream from Ralph’s Ice Cream.
10 am. Take a rugged 3.5-mile back-country hike to the Ice Cave. The hike will be approximately 3.5-miles and will last about 3 hours. We will be covering rugged terrain so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Please bring water. We do not have drinking water at the park. Please bring trail snacks if you may need them. This hike is not recommended for children. Not Wheelchair Accessible.
