The Kiwanis of Lancaster invites the public to join in the 10th Annual Worldwide Day of Play. Nickelodeon will stop airing programs for and encourage kids to get up, get moving and play. Bring your fishing rods, tennis rackets, horseshoes, jump ropes, footballs, remote control toys, friends and family!

Learn to talk the talk. Ask our pirate interpreters a question and they will give you all the historic information or just listen to them give accounts of the pirates from the 18th century. Self guided tour of the ship. Approximately 2 p.m. the pirates will storm the ship with lots of gunfire and cannons.
Hocking Hills Canoe Livery – Logan Ohio

Join us for a Moonlight canoe ride on the Hocking River. You are put on the water as the sun sets, then paddle back to the livery by the light of the full moon. A local bluegrass band, a roaring bonfire and a yummy marshmallow roast follow at the livery. Reservations are highly recommended. Meet at the livery at 7 p.m. and be sure to bring a flashlight. This is a great alternative for beginners or experienced daytime paddlers. Children over 8 are more than welcome to attend.
